Title: Keyshot VR is extremely flickery
Post by: Arn on June 25, 2015, 11:46:51 AM
As I am not sure where else to post this, I will post it here. When viewing VRs, the result is a very flickery experience in certain browsers, notably Firefox. It is sometimes to the point of things not being usable or viewable. For instance, the recently posted Venge VR shows an almost fully black screen when trying to rotate the model. Just a static image can be viewed fine, but rotating anything creates a right mess. In Internet Explorer the experience is smooth and as expected.

The OS is Windows 8 x64 [fully updated]
The browser are Firefox 38.0.5 and Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.17842 [should be fully updated]

Sounds like Firefox may have a cache size too small to cope with that VR

To be clear, every VR on the Keyshot site suffers from the issue. It is more pronounced in the Venge one, but the quality of the presentation of all suffers from it.

I'm with Arn on this, managed to view the Venge one using Chrome and it stutters like there is no tomorrow - I was expecting a silky smooth experience
