Title: Color/saturation shift when importing into Photoshop.
Post by: mikejb on September 22, 2015, 01:16:25 PM
Hope someone can help here?

When I render an image in Keyshot, it looks fine, but once I import the final rendered image into Photoshop, it seems to have a slight color shift and desaturated colors.

I have set Photoshop to work in the sRGB color space as I'll be using most of my images on the web.

Any ideas?

I don't know if this is the 'proper' way of doing things, but when I import my raw renders into PS, I go to Edit > Assign Profile > Profile and toggle down to Adobe RGB 1998. This brings back a lot of the saturation and vibrance I had in my viewport. Again, someone else might have a better answer, but this works for me.

Hey mikejb-
Check out this KeyShot quick tip video about color management:

I think this may help you.

Thanks Eric, I knew I was on the right track, but this helps me get squared away with my process as well.
