Is it possible to apply a texture to a selected level in the scene tree? It would be more convenient in some cases than needing to zoom way in and select the part. Also, when I apply a texture to a part the scene tree collapses. Can the tree be kept expanded? I have many faces that need textures and the extra step of expanding the scene tree repeatedly gets old.
Just the texture or the material? I think you mean material, and yes, that works. select multiple parts and drag and drop a texture onto it.
The collapsing of the tree is a bug. We will fix this in the next update.
