Title: Zbrush Bridge Import Settings
Post by: Daf57 on October 19, 2015, 01:59:12 PM
Hi all!

Thank you for the Zbrush bridge - makes it so nice working between the 2 applications!

One question/request - When I send a model over to KS through the bridge I have to spend some time with the KS camera as the orientation is way off between the 2 applications. I generally work with my models in Zbrush at 0,0,0 - when they enter KS they are facing the opposite direction, as well as tilted 90 degrees. The KS floor is vertical after I get it aligned right. This is a kink in the workflow for me. I happened to notice in a tutorial video (they were using the full version I believe)  that some orientation and scale settings are available when you use the import function - this doesn't appear to be available in the Zbrush bridge however. Or are they?

If not it would be a great addition to the bridge to also have these settings available.

Please move to the feature request if needed - I wasn't sure if the settings existed or not. :)

Thank you
Daf

facing the same problem (if you call it a problem :) ) but it would be nice to skip the orientation issue.
Did you find any solution?

I have not. Without some import options we are destined to continue to re-position for each import. I'm not sure it this is a feature request for Keyshot or Pixologic.
