Title: White label appears black on object
Post by: Nick on November 13, 2015, 01:46:51 AM
Hi,

I have a logo with white text saved as PNG.
I applied it to a box in KeyShot.
The white text appears as black (no matter the box color, the label stays black)

Why isn't it appearing in same color (white) as the PNG ?

Thank you!

Seems to be working okay for me. Could either one of you share the label?

A label will by override the material color, since it's basically a color texture. The most simple solution is to apply that same logo below (chanel_logo.png) as an opacity texture, and change the opacity mode to alpha. See the attached screenshot & KSP.

Hope this helps!

I finally made it work.

One needs to save the art with TRANSPARENT background.   I did not have this checked and that's what caused the issue.

Thank you!
