Title: liquid procedural water drops....
Post by: Finema on December 30, 2015, 10:02:03 PM
Hi,
In order to add procedural water drops on my model, i duplicate my cube.
The first is paint texture
The second (increased a little) is liquide texture. (see my screenshot)
My question is :
How i can have the same result with only one cube (model) without duplicate it ?
ps : i want to keep liquid texture for realistic result
Thanks.

have you tried putting a label in the first cube and assigning the water drop material to that label with the opacity and bump? that way i think it would show both materials, the water and the paint beneath it

Me neither. Hmm. That was my solution as well.
Seems like it is not possible to layer certain materials as labels like liquid, dielectric, thin film, glas and gem.

Maybe it is not possible with the refractive nature of the above materials. Don't know.
