Title: how much freedom are we given?
Post by: syrom on February 19, 2016, 10:43:18 PM
Ok...... I have a simple scene. Its a eye.  Nothing more!  So... i wanted to animated like in 3ds. But realize theres no easy way! I just wanted to make the eye rotate up, down,  left, diagonal. ...etc. kinda like looking everywhere.  Can ks6 do this or is it just the 3 axis? I was shocked to find out it wasnt easy to figure out.

I'm having a similar issue. The rotation function in version 6 is a huge step backward. You can't manually adjust rotation along multiple axis as you could in previous versions.

Right click the part, select animate, select appropriate action, rotate or transformation etc. Adjust the wizard settings for duration and axis of rotation or distance to move and duration. You can now also set a pivot point by object if you don't want to use self.
