Title: Crackled Porcelain
Post by: Lucas Ofero on February 25, 2016, 08:32:43 AM
Hey guys! First time here.

I saw this render by amazing artist Zhelong Xu, and I know it was made in keyshot. I'd just wondering how can i achieve this crackled porcelain look, and if it's just a texture, where should i apply it?

Thanks  in advance!

Hi
You can use > Texture > Diffus >Cellular > Circular
Contrast :5

Quick question please. How did you get the material to be so reflective/glossy with a 'diffuse' material?
I tried to reproduce your image - diffuse/cellular/circular, etc. I got the crackle pattern but it was 'matt'.
I couldn't make it reflective.

Thanks.

I don't think that the material type is 'diffuse'.
I guess what he describes is that the cellular texture has been put into the diffuse channel of an e.g.  advanced or plastic material type.

Hi,
I've upload Crackled Porcelain on the cloud.
I use Paint Material.
Can you delete the Crackled Porcelain Metallic Paint on the cloud, and keep only Crackled Porcelain Paint ?
Thanks
