So I am trying to take my nicely textured model in Keyshot 6.1 Pro and get it into Maya 2015 WITH the textures.
When I export to OBJ it hangs up at 82%, which form what i can tell it looks like the model is going through without a problem. but the .mtl is at 0kb
So I tried saving as package to keep the materials in one location then exporting.....same result
1. What am i doing wrong?
2. Is there a better way?
3. The only reason I am exporting back into Maya is because KS cant handle the complexity of our interior renderings. >:(
In fact (with the keyshot plugin installed) I can't retain materials in either program......................
