Title: Where does Keyshot save screenshots renders on a MAC?
Post by: Jephson on January 04, 2011, 08:44:18 AM
I am new to Keyshot and rendering in general and have two questions, well any but two just now>

When I save a render in Keyshot it is only saving it as .bit file which I can open in photoshop or illustrator, so is it possible to save a render in another file format or how do I convert them.

As I haven't managed the above I tried saving a screenshot, which I think is .jpeg but I have no idea where it is being save to on my MAC.

any help with this would be very much appreciated.....thanks inadvance

I am not sure I understand what you mean re: saving the image as a .bit file. KeyShot saves the image as a jpeg, tiff, or exr. The are saved in /Library/Application Support/KeyShot/Renderings by default, but you can change the location in the preferences.
