Title: Link Refresh Icon
Post by: wallen on August 11, 2016, 02:11:43 PM
The products I render contain a display screen of a user interface that often needs to be changed out. To overwrite the file that that the Material points to does not automatically update the bip file. I know I can click the refresh button to do this but it would be helpful if there were a link status icon to indicate if a linked resource needs to be updated or not. Adobe uses this feature for instance in all of its apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign). If a link to an asset is stale then the app displays a warning icon. The user double clicks it and then the update/change occurs in the Adobe app file or the user can replace the assets.
