Title: Material Graph editor - 'Curvature' & 'Occlusion' - getting best results
Post by: jhiker on September 26, 2016, 07:19:35 AM
Is there a Webinar, Keyshot tutorial or Quick Tip that explains the use of the new Material Graph editor in general and 'Curvature' & 'Occlusion' in particular? Also, 'Colour by Number' - what's that do..?
I don't get chance to use/practice with Keyshot every day and after every update I find myself playing 'catch-up' ....
I'd like to learn how to get the best out of these features.
Thanks.
P.S. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the 'Geometry Editor'.... love it!

Hello jhiker. I remember a few ones covering some of those topics:

This one covers occlusion very nice along with other subjects: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=athFOgZPjCY

Mat graph and layered materials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5umbUNOT6HI

Quick vid about using labels to create worn looks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wtj_Cq12g08

Hope it helps ! I learned a lot watching those.

Thanks! I'm sure it will help.
BTW - I'm halfway through Webinar 52 'Metal Material Mastery' and it's excellent!
