Title: Importing Geometry After Creating a sceneset
Post by: 1fastlearner on October 06, 2016, 12:11:11 PM
Is it possible to import an updated piece of geometry and apply it to scene sets I have already created?

The scene sets I created, have other parts which I have moved from a different position than the default scene.

When I import the updated piece of Geometry it is put in the default scene set. Can I move that geometry to the other scene sets without having to go back and create a new scene set?

Yes you can copy the geometry to the scene set - simply right click onto the object in the scene tree and select "copy to scene set", and select the appropriate scene set.

I just tried it and it worked. Thanks

What I also noticed too was that, 1) the geometry needed to then be correctly ordered in the scene hierarchy within the scene tree and 2) You then needed to re-scale and re coordinate the geometry.

In my case I had to do this because I wanted this particular geometry to match the position of its predecessor
