Title: Flash animation export with transparency?
Post by: Blumer on January 06, 2017, 08:13:33 AM
I would like to be able to export a Flash animation that has transparency, so I can embed it into an interactive  PDF.
Is it possible to export a Flash animation with a transparent background from KeyShot?

You can export frames as any file format that supports transparency (png will work fine), then load those frames into another software... however, standard video codecs don't support transparency. You could use a third party app to create an animated gif sequence (embeddable just like a jpg) that has a transparent background.

The shorter answer is no, not directly.

Thanks Will.
I was reading upon interactive Pdfs and it seems like flash files are what is needed (darn). I have made animated gifs out of KeyShot before, I'll give it a go anyway...
