Title: Material Booleans: WIPs
Post by: bdesign on January 22, 2017, 07:41:04 PM
I had started doing some testing with material based booleans a while back, then put it on the backburner. I now know that this will be a new feature in KeyShot 7, but thought I'd post a few WIP examples nonetheless.

Cheers,
Eric

So, how does this thing work? :)

To be able to do this in KeyShot directly is pretty darn cool. I have a sneaky suspicion it's going to be a really easy solution but one that us mere mortals don't pick up on. A combination of PS experience working with masks and layers being carried over to the KeyShot MatGraph is what I am thinking. It works beautifully though whatever method is used!
