Title: How to create a translucent metal finish
Post by: DetroitVinylRob on January 25, 2017, 07:33:14 AM
Hello, I am a designer in the transportation lighting industry and have a request to render a (non-lit) amber turn signal bulb that has a chrome finish over the amber glass. Or to be more specific, the finish is actually a (polished aluminum) over amber glass. It should present with that pearlescent like complexity. I beleive I need to be able to make in KeyShot 6 a "metal" characteristic material that is translucent...  does anyone have an idea? Thanks
