Title: VR Animation - Reduce Frames
Post by: bentiger on February 10, 2017, 06:29:46 AM
Hi,
I have a question about a VR-Scene, that is already rendered. I want to get it running fluently on an android tablet. Therefore i would like to reduce the frames, that the VR-Scene is using. About half fps would be fine for me.

The Scene has about 1500 pictures and i only want to use half of it. Do i have an easy possibility to change the settings of the *.html? If not - is there a good software tool to rename my pictures?`

This should still be possible...  I had done this before but it was a few years ago. Make a copy of the VR (all contents for backup) then adjust your u & v count in the original HTML file.  You will need to delete half of your frames but not sure of an efficient way to do this.  I have used XnView to change names (batch process) before and it worked great for that. You may be able to reduce the frame count with it as well.
