Good one ! I prefer the first one without the filter. I feel that there is too much empty space in the scene though. Maybe some tweaking on the camera angle and distance can improve this.

Cool! I might add some leather roughness texture too as the shoe almost looks synthetic, rather than real leather. I also prefer the non-filtered version.

I've never rendered a shoe. Yours is a great start!

cool shoe you did !

One question regarding to holes for decoration, how did you do them??  I did it with combination of masking in zbrush and booleans in Maya, but It was nasty...!
