Title: Image Sequence Import / Script
Post by: alynerankin on May 22, 2017, 04:30:44 PM
Good evening Keyshooters,

I have a rhino file with hundreds of mesh surfaces (one on top of the other) and when I import the file in to KeyShot (v6) I can render each instance of the surface. This is fine but it takes a long time.

The mesh actual deforms from the next file. The end result is a fluid surface when viewed in sequence. Rendering each instance as a separate image file is very time consuming. The images are then imported into After Effects for composing into one animation.

Is there a work flow online that anyone can share to show me how to script the rendering of each mesh?

The mesh(es) are created using rhino/grasshopper and the native file is a rhino .3dm file.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

There is a script from Dries already published in the scripting section. Search for deformable meshes.
I think this would help.

Cheers
