Title: Decal applied as texture not showing up in rendering (ver 2.2.42)
Post by: o-lab on March 03, 2011, 05:00:52 PM
I updated to ver 2.2.42, and experiencing a problem with decal feature.

I applied JPEG image as a PC screen content and it looks OK in real-time mode.
However, when I render it, the decal (applied as "texture") does not show up at all.  Instead, it shows a blank gray area.

Another issue I have is that when I apply the decal as texture using UV-map, it shows up as a repetition of millions of super-micro graphics.  Thus, I increased the scale U and V up to about 200 and it looks OK.
However, then when I tried to shift the image using "sift U (or V)", it only allows entering between -5 and 5, so the only way I could "roughly" position the image at the right place is dragging using "position."
I sometimes need to be able to control the placement and scale by very precise numbers, so please fix the bug as soon as possible!

Thank you.

Go to "check for Update" under the help menu, and download the latest version - 2.2.45.
