With the release of Keyshot 7, will there be any way to render motion study animations from Solidworks, Fusion 360, or other CAD packages?
If you use creo parametric you can import the mechanism via fra file.
And if the CAD tool provide alembic cache (abc) files, KS7 support this via import.
I haven't tried it with fbx files.
No. These APIs are quite restrictive, except for the Creo API as Marco mentioned. We support animations from:
- Creo
- Maya
- 3ds Max
- Cinema 4D
- Alembic
- FBX
