Title: crash when I turn my monitor off?

what's up with this? I lost my entire rendering last night.

You may want to contact Nvidia. Has nothing to do with KeyShot.

well I'd say it appears like that as well, only, I had several other applications open and Keyshot is the only one that actually crashes and goes away.

KeyShot is using OpenGL, so if the other programs are not then that might explain it.

Strange issue though!

Seems the temp workaround is to disable CUDA.

I'll assume you meant to say "is not?"
Although, in windows 7 using aero doesn't each window use an openGL plane? I know the actual render window isn't using OGL to render, but the window it resides in might?

Yeah, the actual display of the image is done with OpenGl (as well as things like the outlines and move tool), but of course the rendering calculation is all CPU.

so then the bug Could be in programming the interface maybe?

I had a similar problem on my Mac. I turned off the monitor at the end of the day with a large render running, and it crashed out shortly after.
