Title: Polished granite?
Post by: nvanlaar on April 10, 2011, 06:02:34 PM
Does anyone have a polished granite material they would be willing to share?  (Any color)

Thanks,
Nick

Take a look on cgtextures.com, there should be something good under the "marble" section.

Download one of those textures, then load it into the "texture" tab of a shiny plastic material.

You could also load the texture into the bump map tab as well, and lower the height to a value very close to 0 to give just a very slight bump texture to the surface, but still overall very polished and shiny.

Let us know how it goes!

Here's a "Pink Granite" I use for surface plates and measuring instruments.
