Title: Render without a background
Post by: plackow on May 09, 2011, 01:11:55 PM
Still a newbie at this. How do I create a render without a background? Instead of creating a render in Keyshot and then bringing into photoshop to cutout the outline, can I do it all in Keyshot?
Thanks

Hi Plackow,

Try to render the image in a tiff format. Make sure you enable "Include alpha"
When you open this tiff file in photoshop, you will only get to see your model.

Also make sure you render with a black or white background, as this can affect the shadows and edges of your model. (if you don't use shadows/reflections at all, it's even better)
You can do this by disabling the background and disabling "show environment", in that same menu you can choose your background color.
