Hello everyone. This is our new work "Tranquil", and it is our first time using Keyshot 7 for a scene picture, along with the new Metallic Paint. We hoped to test and create the most realistic rendering on materials such as metal, wood, etc, so we purposely created weathering effects on it. Usually, we only use Keyshot to render realistic product images (check out our other topic (https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=20111.0)), but Tranquil gave us some surprises:
1. Half-transparent materials came out looking great, and it's very simple to do in Keyshot. We've tested different materials for the elephant, and they all turned out great. We finally chose the half-transparent elephant because it matches well with the overall image.
2. Rendering speed is extremely fast as it only took 1 hour. If we use other rendering software, it may take up to 3-4 hours.
