Title: Gems - GIF animation
Post by: Chad Holton on May 26, 2011, 06:17:04 PM
A turntable I done a few months ago, some of you may remember. Wanted to see how it would look as a GIF animation... had to take out most of the frames to reduce the size - so the gems will now magically change colors.  ;)

It may take a moment to load all frames to play smoothly...

Very cool! shame you can almost not see the yellow one...

Maybe you can upload the full version to youtube?

Thanks!  :)

I like the yellow one too - if I had to do it over again, I would have made it from only yellow and white diamonds. The "loop" would have looked better. I don't have much luck with youtube and quality... not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've tried different formats and they all turnout grainy. Maybe I have to be a paying member.  ???

True - all I want is a bigger image, not bigger diamond.

Thanks, Tim! The glare and bloom was added afterwards with Blender. It works great with multiple frame editing. I posted a how-to here: http://keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=1435.0 (http://keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=1435.0) Your vehicle turntables would look even more awesome with a little added!  :o Let me know if you would like to try it and need any help.

Thanks, Thomas! I sure can - what size did you have in mind?
