Title: DOF Settings
Post by: RichardB on June 09, 2011, 03:41:30 AM
Hello,

I just playing with the DOF option and found that the highest F-Stop of 6 is still too blurry for my project :-\.
Is there a way to get higher values? Manually tweaking the number doesnt work, it pops back to 6,000.
If not, i will take it on my wishlist for upcoming releases.

best regards

Richard

That setting is set to take whatever you type in.

Are you on KeyShot 2 and have the latest version?

Got same thing going on ... even after typing 9999 in the box, nothing changes compared tot he 6.

I'm on 2.2.65 at the moment ... should update soon.

I can confirm it is taking higher values than 6 on the latest 2.3 build that you can grab from the site or from the downloads thread.

It will go up to 100, and if you type higher than that it will revert down to 100.

One thing to note is that if you nudge the slider with your mouse scroll wheel, or click on the slider and move it, it will revert to the range of 0-6.

Ok !  I've downloaded it already, but haven't gotten round to install it yet.
