Title: Black Screen + Error log
Post by: Yeraypabon on December 25, 2017, 08:25:24 PM
Hello,

Tonight I was working on an animation shot but when I opened the bip file in keyshot, it appeared a black screen with an error log saying missing lightning, camera not found, 3d connection dll, etc. I attached below a screenshot, the log, and the bip file. Is my work corrupted? How can I restore it? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Here's a link to BIP file since it's larger than 50mb:

Hi,

This happens when assets your scene was using are moved or deleted, or perhaps on a hard drive that is no longer connected to the computer. It's best practice to make sure you create .KSP files because it will package all your assets into a compressed folder (like a .zip) and keep them together. If you look at the error, it should tell you what it's looking for and where it's looking.

If you pass the .bip along, we will get the same error because the textures, lighting, etc. are on your computer, not ours.
