Title: Render Ground Shadow Pass with Transparency
Post by: Rollk1 on January 19, 2018, 05:14:47 PM
New to Keyshot 7 and having an issue/brain fart with render passes. With Keyshot 6 I could render a PSD with the object, ground shadows and all other passes on dedicated layers. It was great. With Keyshot 7 when I do the same thing, I get the passes on dedicated layers as before but that shadows layer is on a white background, which is useless to me. Has this setting changed or am I doing something wrong?

Passes in KS7 behave similar to how they do in many other programs for compositing purposes. Just set your blend mode to 'multiply' and you should be set.

Forgot I used the clownpass to separate shadows to it's own layer  ;D
