Title: non-uniform scaling crazyness
Post by: Clausj on March 02, 2018, 07:09:13 AM
Surely someone brought this up before. In an otherwise very clear and logic interface the non uniform scaling under the position tab is beyond my comprehension. I wish to reduce the scale in the z direction to 0.9 but the program achieves this by scaling the whole object to 0.9 and enlarging the x and y to 1.1. This makes it very difficult change the scale afterwards, at least without a calculator.

See point #2, and I've commented on other threads about this as well. I get why they do it the way they do, its just a pain for the end user. I would like to think that they are working on it, but I haven't heard anything specific. Maybe find out more when they do the preview of KS8 at renderworld in May.

OK, thanks for the info. Hope it's on the list.
