Title: Lego Smash!!
Post by: JimmyToTheBe on April 23, 2018, 09:57:24 AM
Had a little fun with this one while learning some Blender for the first time. This is my entry for week 3 on #renderweekly. To show a cloudy plastic material product. I class lego as a product so why not. This had not only taught meme some Blender 3D but also a bit more on the Dielectric material in keyshot. Sooo want to do more with Blender a bit more, just scrapping the surface.

Yooo! These are sweet. Blender is a rabbithole. A universe of it's own. I started playing with it a few months back. Definitely having fun with it. These look nice, but the columns in the center of each brick look dark/black. Are your ray bounces high enough? Only down-side I found using a poly-modeler coming from a CAD background is making nice, water-tight mesh that works well with transparent materials.
