Title: Where did "Duplicate Model" go in 7.2.135?
Post by: Speedster on May 06, 2018, 05:01:13 PM
I've always been able to duplicate a model in the Scene Tree by simply R/C on the drop down menu and selecting "duplicate".  I have often duplicated a model for toon, or other materials, etc.  Especially X-ray or glass to help aligning up to a backplate.

But where has that gone now in 7.2.135?

Configurator does not do what I want.

Manual describes the old way, which apparently does not exist now...

I know that the duplicate function will hide itself if you are trying to duplicate a group with a locked part in it.

Bingo- that was the issue, I had a locked part.  Thanks, Matt!

I will say, it's a bit odd!

Yeah, I put in a request to have this chnaged, it would make sense to be able to duplicate a group and keep the locked parts intact. So, we will see what happens. There was another person that posted about this issue as well, so that's 3 of us which should be enough to bump it to the very top of the priority list
