Title: able to stop Keyshot 7 from rendering light geo in render layers?
Post by: jlgroff on May 21, 2018, 01:35:28 PM
I'm using the latest version of Keyshot 7 ZBrush Version. I have a couple of keyshot plane geo being used with an area light material and I have unchecked the box so that the light geo isn't seen by the camera. When rendering "live" in the window it works as expected however when rendering into render layers (except the full RGBA) it treats this light geometry as render-able and blocks the render from seeing the object behind it. I can't see any way to change this other than move the geometry so it isn't seen by the camera... attached is a view of a section of the diffuse layer. Is there a good work around - something I'm missing? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
