Title: Detail Lace Material
Post by: sadicus on June 15, 2018, 11:55:06 AM
Hi, I'm making a macro shot of some lace and Looking for a way to make the material look like real Lace fabric.
I'm not sure what base material or where to start. I did try following this thread, but there was no conclusion.

Example of the type of image I'd like to make:

A combination of textures would be your best bet.

You'll need a bump texture to make the fabric look like it's woven and not just a flat surface.
You'll also need a matching opacity texture (black and white) black will make the material invisible and white will be visible.
