Title: Resumable render
Post by: fa2020 on July 09, 2018, 08:53:50 AM
Hi,
One of my wishes is Resumable Render. Many scenes which have heavy DoF and materials need to render for a long time for example 3 hours. If we can stop the render and turn off the PC and resume the render later, it would be a good progress in KeyShot development. This feature exists in Vray and Corona renderer.

I'll second that!
Especially for rendering long animations.

Or being able to save your render spot go work on another project and then resume it later on at night or when ever if it is a side project.

Please add a progress indicator too if possible  so we know when we have to sleep or leave it overnight  ;)

It would be great to have this feature on network rendering as well. I'd love to be able to pause a job during work hours and resume for the night. (Now I have to email everybody to disable their machine with the slave tray in case they experience slowdowns).
