Title: remove some render formats?
Post by: andy.engelkemier on August 21, 2018, 07:33:33 AM
Any way to remove some of the render formats? People keep rendering to a format that I would prefer they not use, so I'd like to just Hide it if possible.

Really I just want to limit the formats to png and psd because one previews in pretty much anything, is high quality, and supports transparency. The other is great if you're going to edit, and can reduce files if you check the "add to render" box, which I also wish was on by default, and also defaulted to turning the clown pass layer off so the file preview isn't just of the clown pass.

Why not just ask your people to render to PNG or PSD only and to double check the option they chose in the pulldown menu before hitting the render button? Doesn't seem like it would be that tall an order or that tough a task to pull off.
