Hi,
The following is a SOLIDWORKS model rendered in KeyShot:

You have no idea how this brings back memories. I spent a good part of my career behind the controls of this workhorse of a camera. I see something goofy about the underside of the upper handle though, the grip looks white, and it was all black, a soft rubbery grip.

Model looks fantastic, did you model it yourself? The proportions look perfect. I'm not a modeler, so I am always amazed at how someone can just freehand model these things and get all the curves and lines in the right place. Amazing.

Nice job!

Nice images indeed.

Matt, it looks like the model was pulled from GrabCAD (https://grabcad.com/library/sony-hvr-z1u-hi-def-camcorder-1). It looks at least extremely similar.
It's a really nice model to play around with. I have used it before for a demonstration in Japan.  :)
