Title: Fade Across Single Part
Post by: de49192 on October 13, 2018, 10:45:26 AM
Has anyone figured out a way to fade across a single part ? For example  lets say a fade of a material going from non visible  to a solid Color across a rectangle - so that it starts at one end and appears to grow ?

That depends on the fade texture parameter that you're using / want.
In this cas I would control with a fade animation the opacity channel. Or you can play with a number animation driving the shift of a fade in the opacity channel of the part material.

Maybe you can post a simple scene representing your scene? So we can help building an example?!

Or post your test result.

Cheers
