Title: "Generate full resolution HDRI" lowers quality from original
Post by: RRIS on October 19, 2018, 05:17:19 AM
Hi, just noticed a problem in KS7 (latest release of 7) when working with some high-res HDRI's (8K from HDRI Haven). I needed to boost reflections on one of them and added a light pin. Of course before regenerating the HDRI showed a low resolution preview, but I was surprised to see that the viewport clearly showed a more pixelated HDRI after regenerating (something that looks more like 4K).

Attachment shows a cutout from the top/right corner of my viewport before/after:

Anything? Almost 1500 views... should this be submitted in the bugs subforum instead?

Yes, this is unfortunately a bug - thank you for reporting it. It is fixed in KeyShot 8.1.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
