Title: Texture manager
Post by: mattjgerard on October 22, 2018, 08:25:48 AM
Would be great to have a central window/tool where one could go and see/manage/update/replace image textures. We keep our main texture and material libraries on a shared network drive, and once in a while things go a bit off and textures get unlinked, or we try to package a file or send it to the network renderer and it can't find a texture.

Would be great to just be able to open a list of all image textures sorted by material in which they are used where we can update/reconnect or just plain see which ones where KS has lost the link to the texture.

I agree, something similar to the 'links' panel in adobe Illustrator/indesign where you can see all of the 'linked' assets, and quickly see that something has gone 'missing', etc.
