Title: Modifications to scene tree - scroll bar
Post by: theAVator on November 29, 2018, 09:22:42 AM
I'm still in KS7, so apologies if anything has changed in KS8 (I'm still waiting for IT to come around and install my KS8 :-\ )

When dealing with lengthy lists of parts in the scene tree the size of the scroll bar handle decreases "proportionally", but at a certain point it becomes too small to actually grab and scroll with. Can a minimum size be set that is actually usable?

I get that it's nice to visually match the scrolling to the length of the list, but I can't imagine it would impact too many workflows to stop the shrinking at a certain point - I sorta feel like at a certain point people know they have a large list of parts and that usability would trump the aesthetics of it. I know at least one time this week I had it where the scroll handle completely disappeared.

Again, I don't know if this is already different in KS8, but if not, can it be put in the queue? Thx!

Yep this has been fixed in KS 8. I just tested it, and it stops getting smaller at some point. Still able to grab it.
