Title: Jbl speaker
Post by: Elaheh Elmy on December 09, 2018, 03:17:44 PM
Hi everybody
I did this in keyshot 8, with lots of studios, model sets and also lots of displacements.... so now when I try to open its bip file, my pc run out of memory and shuts keyshot down... is there another way to access the file?! :'(

Well, the rendering looks nice! Sorry to hear about the memory issue. How much RAM does your PC have? (just curious) Not sure if I know of a solution for you at this time.

Thank you for the compliment, it's a 12G RAM laptop, poor thing just freezes when I click on this heavy saved file :(

Ah, yeah. If you've got displaced geometry and some high-resolution textures, I suppose that makes sense.

First of all: Awesome job on that image. Very impressively implemented! Can't even see where the backplate starts/stops. Bravo!

Secondly, I've had the same issue with a scene, which has made me a bit careful on doing heavy displacement jobs. Luckily I had an earlier project saved, but i know the pain (whatever that's worth).

Thank you, happy you liked it  ;)
somebody gave me some advise about it, hide the displaced parts before saving... when you wanna load the project again it will start without problem and keyshot won't crash or anything, then you can make them all visible and execute the nodes again. that worked perfectly for me hope it helps you too ;D
