Title: matarial bump map / displace

hello,

technically it's quite simple question...but it is really problematical for me.
anyone can help ?
I'm trying to apply map of pores to face, I've applied default skin material, and now I am trying to connect pore map.  The best thing that I could get is little bump mapping but than any controls that I am changing it does not matter if 1 or 20 bump mapping still stays the same after rendering.
Am I doing something wrong ? could someone help with setting up material node for this ?
or maybe bump map is not the answer and I should try somehow normal map ?

Hi. There is no short, simple answer to your question. Also, hard to know for sure without seeing your material settings and some screenshots.
