Title: render queue question
Post by: aebstract on September 06, 2011, 08:34:16 AM
Trying to learn a little bit more about how it works and how to use it completely. Can I change render settings between different jobs? What I'm wondering basically is if I have like 3 jobs in queue with a specific render settings setup and want to add a 4th to the queue with a different setup, will the previous ones be saved? Also, if I setup a queue and want to close that file and open and work on something else, can I do that or do I have to leave what I'm working on open?

You can change whatever you want - settings, materials, lighting, scene etc - it will not affect what is inside the queue.

For your second question: you can even close KS and your computer .. the Q-files will still be there unless you remove them / render them.
