Title: Applying motion blur to one specific object
Post by: batelman on February 01, 2019, 02:46:53 PM
Hello,
Is it possible to apply motion blur to only one of the animated objects?
I am creating an animation with many moving parts.
Most parts are moving slow, but one part is moving very fast and I want to apply a motion blur to just that one part, but not the other moving parts.
Thank you!

Then you'll need two animations and compose them in post. But this is not solvable in one render.
Do you really see the motion blur on the Slow moving parts?

Hi MWo,
Thank you for your reply.
You are correct. I did some more testing and the motion blur on slow moving parts is not obviously visible. I was able to achieve the effect that I wanted.
