Title: Arduino Uno
Post by: Esben Oxholm on February 28, 2019, 11:24:15 PM
Hi all.
Here's a bunch of images I've been working on in-between client jobs the last 6 weeks or so for practicing material creation, lighting and composition. See full project on behance here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/76032139/Arduino-Uno-Visualizations
Thanks for looking!

Also, did two tutorials as a part of the project:

Very great and beautiful renders except the picture on rock. There is something lagging on it. I think subject's properties doesn't match backplate. Or is that it has to be. So confused.

Next level stuff, very cool! The rocks scene is kind of other worldly.. probably a combination of the extreme zoom and harsh light (like on the moon?). But it's a joy to look at all the same. :)

Very nice renders.
Can you please share the *.bip file with all the textures and details so we can learn so many things.
Thanks.

Thanks for the nice words, all of you! Appreciate the support.

@fa2020: Can't share as I don't have sharing rights for the model and most of the textures used.
Forgot to mention here as well that the base model can be grabbed here: https://grabcad.com/library/arduino-uno-r3-1

@Ananth: I agree. It feels slightly off, but wasn't sure what to do about it. The rocks are not a blackplate but actual geometry made from a pbr texture with displacement mapping: https://quixel.com/assets/shfsaida.

These are absolutely fantastic! The four close ups (mega, power, reset, & silo) are especially noteworthy. I love how you include the finest, most minor details in your materials. And the lighting and composition are exceptional. You've taken and object that's fairly mundane and turned it into magic. I mean that. It's truly inspirational work!

I am interest with the way you use quixel pbr texture, I mean the graph for quixel pbr in keyshot .

Fantastic renders, Esben. The clarity, detail and personality of your stuff is always spot on.
I'm relatively new to Keyshot and your work has been really inspirational. Your tutorials have been a huge practical help as well, so sincere thanks for that.  ;D

You last shot gave me an odd sense of nostalgia, and then i remembered; it reminded me of going to the cinema as a boy!

Woah! Blast from the past. Spot-on with that Newline Cinema logo. Definitely some nostalgia in there.
