I have a scene established (jewelry rings) ready for a turn table. I have all my geometry and materials set the way I want them. I used a custom piece of geometry for my ground plane and to make it interesting I decided to light ground geometry with an emissive circle plane, but I don't want the emissive circle plane to light the ring. Is there a way to choose which objects in your scene will be affected by an emissive material?
Uncheck "show in reflection" when editing the emissive material. This should do the trick.
