Title: Render Multiple cameras with multi material in render queue
Post by: Magicmez on April 08, 2019, 04:23:34 AM
Hi All,

I would like to render a model with 7 different materials (in a multi material), with 4 different camera views. So, 28 images.
Is there anyway to get this in the render queue in the same time? I can do: add cameras, or add multi material, but it seems I can't do it, both in the same time.
Any idea about how to proceed?
Thanks,

Cyril

I just use studios. One studio for each render. Setup camera, environment, modelset and multi-material per studio and then queue them one by one.

RRIS is right. Studios are magic once you take the time to set them up. I hardly render anything without setting up studios first anymore.

Yeah, studios are a huge time saver. One thing to note when rendering a queue that large: make sure the drive the renders are saving to has enough space. If there isn't adequate space, the queue will stop processing.

So for the original poster's scenario, you'd setup 28 studios?
