Hi
I am a beginner with Keyshot 6 and would like to know why some materials have a lock icon next to their name and how to unlock them ?

It might be because 6 is 2 versions removed from being current, and I know I don't have it installed anymore, so I can't answer for you. I would email support@luxion.com to get more direct support.

Don't blame the users. Would it be possible that everybody who have read your post doesn't know the answer?

I use KS v.8.2 and don't know anything about locked materials. Maybe it has something to do with your license and it doesn't allow to use this materials?
