Title: Materials in final render differ from preview
Post by: Skippy-INC on May 20, 2019, 07:35:07 PM
Fellow keyshooters,

I am having a bit of trouble find a solution as to why my rendered images differ from the preview in my window (letting the image res up in real-time).
Attached are the images I am referring too; the first is they way I am going for and the second is the rendered image.  the biggest differences are in the lighter's main material, shadows and the ash tray material.
Here's what I have tried thus far;
-varying bump heights
-sample size
-material scale

Hello uncle Boris.

It seems that you use the advanced render option instead of max samples mode. This may cause the difference in the light weight.
The scale of the texture could be affected by the texture scale option of the material.

Maybe you can share this scene, or reduce it to the issue parts or use simple objects (e.g. spheres) and apply the materials?
So we can take a look into it?!?

Cheers
Marco
